Thumb snapping - 2 wks.

Patient Data

Age: 4 yrs
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Short axis on palmer aspect of 1st metacarpo-phalangeal joint shows hypoechoic thickening around central echogenic tendon - thickened A1 pulley.

Flexure tendon is normal. There is no tenosynovitis.

There is no joint effusion.
