Trimalleolar ankle fracture with internal fixation

The study was done for evaluation of metallic implants after surgical internal fixation of fractures of lateral and medial malleoli.
Case Discussion
CT of a victim of a car accident demonstrating a comminuted fracture of tibia and fibula (distal fibula (Weber C) and medial malleolar tibial fracture). Both fractures required internal fixation.
Posterior malleolar fracture has not been internally fixed.
