Tripod and Le Fort 1 fractures

Left zygomaticomaxillary complex fracture: Fracture of the lateral orbital rim, zygomatic arch, inferior orbital rim and anterior and posterior maxillary sinus walls
Fracture of left nasal bone
Right maxillary horizontal fracture separating the teeth from the upper face (Le Fort type 1).
No significant hematosinus.
Note is made for peripheral mucoperiosteal thickening of left maxillary sinus.
Case Discussion
Tripod fracture or zygomaticomaxillary complex fractures are comprised of fractures of the:
- zygomatic arch
- inferior orbital rim, and anterior and posterior maxillary sinus walls
- lateral orbital rim
