Trochanteric bursitis

Moderately distended right greater trochanteric bursa with thin-walled and fluid content of low signal on T1,high signal on T2 and STIR with moderate enhancement in keeping with bursitis.
Abnormal high signal on T2 and STIR with enhancement along the left gluteus medius tendon up to its insertion into the greater trochanter with associated inflammatory change of the trochanteric bursa.
Case Discussion
MRI features most consistent with right trochanteric bursitis with left gluteus medius tendinopathy.
