Tuberculous mediastinal lymphadenopathy

Presentation

Known case of tuberculosis presented with fever and cough.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Multiple, enlarged, conglomerate and discrete, peripherally enhancing and centrally non-enhancing (necrotic) lymph nodes noted involving right supraclavicular, right upper paratracheal, left upper paratracheal, prevascular, right lower paratracheal, subcarinal (40x29 mm), para-aortic and bilateral hilar. The subcarinal node shows coarse calcification.
Multiple well-defined, mildly enhancing soft tissue parenchymal nodules measuring approximately 1.0-1.5 cm noted in bilateral upper lobes.
Multiple, enlarged, conglomerate and discrete, peripherally enhancing and centrally non-enhancing (necrotic) lymph nodes noted in peripancreatic, perihilar, celiac and para-aortic region in the visualized part of the abdomen, the largest node measures 27x24 mm.
