Psoas abscess and left sided renal cyst.

Apical scarring the pleural disease (TB) - not optimally visualized on soft tissue window reconstruction.

Case Discussion

This patient with known TB presented with back pain and problems mobilizing.

Their CT confirmed the apical scarring consistent with TB and also revealed a psoas abscess: the source of their mobility problem.

The massive left sided renal cyst was initially distracting. Only a check of review areas yielded the diagnosis.
