Tuberculous osteomyelitis of femur

Case Discussion

30 year old male. 

Lytic lesion within left proximal femur with endosteal scalloping.

Treated as tuberculous osteomyelitis with symptomatic improvement after 15 days of AKT.

Surgery done - Biopsy taken. Bone grafting done.

Pathology says - Tuberculosis.

Last two of three radiographs - follow up after 3 mths

Last radiograph - 9 months post treatment
