Presentation

Known case of Pott's disease.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
mri

Destruction of the T4 and T5 vertebral bodies with near total obliteration of the intervening disc space resulting in a kyphotic deformity.  Associated prevertebral and paravertebral abscess formation extending into the epidural space causing severe compression of the cord resulting in complete obliteration of the anterior CSF column and severe effacement of the posterior CSF column.
