Age: 16 years old
Gender: Female

Multiple subepedymal plaques the largest one in the left side close to the foramen of Monro, some of them are enhancing after contrast administration. Other multiple cortical and subcortical areas of altered signal intensity suggesting cortical tubers.

Diagnosis: Tuberous sclerosis

Case Discussion

The enhancement of subependymal tubers are variable in MRI. So, we shouldn't consider any enhancing plaque as subependymal giant cell astrocytoma.
