Tubular adenoma of the breast

Presentation

A 17 year old girl presents with a palpable mobile lesion at 12 o'clock left breast

Patient Data

Age: 17 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Ultrasound confirms an ovoid, solid, compressible wider than tall lesion at 12 o' clock in the left breast. The margins are slightly lobulated and no definite pseudocapsule is present.

Case Discussion

The lesion is not a typical fibroadenoma. Ultrasound guided core biopsy gave a histological diagnosis of a tubular adenoma.
