Small spiculated lesion centrally in left breast.

Normal screening study two years ago. 

The newest study shows an abnormality in the left breast.

Typical appearance of a small solid spiculated lesion. This is the typical appearance of a tubular carcinoma. 

Case Discussion

This case shows what the majority of tubular carcinomas looks like in every day practice. These are invariably small dense spiculated lesions in the breast in elderly patients. The lesions typically have spiculations and are small and rounded. 

On ultrasound the lesions typically are rounded and spiculated.
