Retrograde urethrogram (RUG) and voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG)

Fluoroscopy

Two retrograde urethrograms (RUG) on the same patient, the second with a voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG), show an irregular defect in the region of the prostatic urethra, compatible with the patient's history of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP).

ct

CT of the abdomen and pelvis with delayed imaging shows a midline defect in the prostate compatible with a TURP defect. A 3D reconstruction shows the gap in the prostatic urethra to good effect.
