Presentation

Thumb distal phalanx swelling for three years.

Patient Data

Age: 45
Gender: Female

Bony growth developed on the ulnar and volar aspects of thumb distal phalanx with a sessile attachment to the periosteum.

Case Discussion

Turret exostosis is an abnormal bony growth that develops on the surface of the bone, usually on the dorsal aspect of the proximal or middle phalanx.
