Known case of inflammatory bowel disease with rectosigmoid involvement. (path proven ulcerative colitis)
In ulcerative colitis involvement of the rectum is almost always present, with the disease involving variable amounts of the most proximal colon, in continuity. Skip lesions are not common in these cases.
