Ulnar impaction syndrome

3-month history of wrist pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

There is positive ulnar variance with PD hyperintensity within the ulnar aspect of the lunate bone and minor cortical irregularity.

Central perforation of the TFCC is noted. 

Abnormal linear intrasubstance increased fluid signal and fusiform thickening of the ulnar collateral ligament at the level of ulnar styloid and carpal row proximal bones related to lamina interstitial tear.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with ulnar impaction syndrome with TFCC injury.
