Ulnar styloid erosion - rheumatoid arthritis

No focal osseous lesion. Erosion of the right ulnar styloid process. No evidence of erosive arthropathy elsewhere. Skeletal alignment within normal limits.

Case Discussion
Erosion of the ulnar styloid is considered an early manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis, however, in reality, is non-specific and can be seen in other conditions (e.g. gout). This patient had a known history of rheumatoid arthritis.
