Presentation
Primigravida patient. Presents with lower abdominal pain for a few hrs. 11-13 wks and 20-22 wks scans were normal.

There is focal dilatation of intra-abdominal segment of umbilical vein before entering the liver. Diameter range is 11-13 mm. There is no thrombosis of the vein.
There was no other anatomical abnormality in the fetus.

An isolated finding of intra-abdominal type of umbilical vein varix.
