Presentation

History of vanishing testes syndrome, short stature and growth hormone deficiency

Patient Data

Age: 9 years
Gender: Male

Ultrasound scrotum (contents)

  • Both scrotal sacs are empty. 
  • Both testicles are seen in inguinal canal. 
  • Right testis measures 1.3 x 0.46 cm in size. 
  • Left testis is seen in 1.1 x 0.6 cm in size.

Case Discussion

Ultrasound scrotum done for 9 years male patient with history of short stature and vanishing testis.

The scan shows that the patient has bilateral undescended testicles.
