Presentation
Primary amenorrhea, infertility
Patient Data
Reduced uterine volume with an asymmetric configuration, curved and elongated appearance.
The uterus is deviated towards the right side. Myometrial zonal anatomy is maintained. Endometrial thickness is approximately. 5 mm.
Elongated, loculated fluid filled structure is seen at the posterolateral aspect of uterus, posterior to right ovary, possibly representing a hydrosalpinx/para-ovarian cyst.
Case Discussion
Reduced uterine volume with asymmetric configuration, curved and elongated appearance and deviation towards the right side. No obvious rudimentary horn seen. Findings are consistent with a unicornuate uterus (class II type b Mullerian duct anomaly).
