Hysterosalpingogram

Fluoroscopy

Banana shaped uterus deviated to left with solitary fallopian tube.  Peritoneal contrast spillage demonstrated in solitary tube.

No demonstrable rudimentary horn seen.

Case Discussion

Unicornuate uterus is a type of Mullerian duct anomaly with arrested development of one duct and normal development of the other.

Hysterosalpingography demonstrates banana or oblong shaped uterus, single fallopian tube with or without rudimentary horn.
