Abnormal lower termination of the spinal cord. Dilatation of the spinal canal opposite the sacral levels with excessive fat deposition within the posterior epidural space. Unilateral agenesis of the sacrum on the right side. Modic type II endplate changes of the L4-5 level.
Case Discussion
An adult female with low back pain demonstrates abnormally tethered cord, posterior epidural lipomatosis, dural ectasia as well as hemisacral agenesis on the right side.
