There is unilateral involvement of the right thalamus and the right side basal ganglia in a case of straight sinus and internal cerebral vein thrombosis.

There is unilateral involvement of the right thalamus and the right side basal ganglia in a case of straight sinus and internal cerebral vein thrombosis.
Evaluation of coagulation profile of this patient revealed protein S deficiency.
Patient recovered completely after heparinisation and currently on anticoagulants.
