Case Discussion

The case is a 20-year-old male with a history of enlarged soft tissue bulge in the outer side of the right upper eyelid. The orbital multislice Helical CT scan requested and relatively large well-defined fat-containing cyst more compatible with a dermoid cyst in the subdermal of the outer side of the right upper eyelid with an impression on the adjacent bone and also extension within anterior temporal fossa was found. Both the orbital CT scan and orbital MRI can be diagnostic for eyelids and orbital dermoid cyst.

The definitive treatment of eyelid dermoid cyst is complete surgical excision of the cyst, otherwise can be recurrent.
