Upper lobe pulmonary venous diversion and borderline cardiomegaly.

Case Discussion

An early sign of heart failure is blood pooling in the pulmonary veins as left atrial pressure increases. This case demonstrates the upper lobe pulmonary veins are of a higher caliber than normal, though without any features of established pulmonary edema.

The appearance of upper lobe venous diversion is sometimes referred to as the stag's antlers sign.
