At the level of the anterior-superior wall of the bladder, in the median area, there is a small cystic lesion of 10 mm, with no enhancement. There is no communication between the urinary bladder and abdominal wall.
Case Discussion
The urachus is a fibrous cord that extends cranially from the anterior bladder wall to the umbilicus. Generally, the urachus is obliterated forms a fibrous core before birth but in some cases, it can form a urachal cyst, due to epithelial desquamation and degeneration, which usually develops in the lower third of the urachus.
