Left flank pain and hematuria.

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

6 mm left ureteric stone at the level of the L2-L3 disc space.

No other stones.

Case Discussion

Plain radiograph is still widely used in the first instance in renal colic to assess for a ureteric stone.
