Uretero-vaginal fistula

A case of post total abdominal hysterectomy 3 weeks earlier, now with urinary incontinence through vagina

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Left distal ureter is tortuous in course and there is pooling of contrast in the uterine bed extending into the vaginal canal.

There is mild left hydroureteronephrosis.

Case Discussion

This case is an uretero-vaginal fistula which is a complication associated with hysterectomy

Surgical repair was done.
