Two calculi with coronal height up to 12 mm in the left side ureter distal segment adjacent to UVJ and also within the left side UVJ with hydroureteronephrosis upstream are seen.
Mild fullness in the right kidney pelvis and ureter is also noted. Left side curve spine scoliosis is also seen.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of the concomitant distal ureteric calculus and UVJ calculus with hydroureteronephrosis upstream. One of the major causes of ureteric obstruction is calculus which in recurrent cases can lead to renal damage.
