A calculus coronal height up to 8 mm impacted in the left ureterovesical junction (UVJ) with hydroureteronephrosis upstream is seen. A small fat hernia in the left inguinal canal is also noted.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT feature of ureterovesical junction impacted stone with hydroureteronephrosis upstream. Calculi are one of the major causes of ureteric obstruction and flank pain.
