Urethral calculus

Presentation

Known case of urolithiasis presents with inability to pass urine during last few hours.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

There are bilateral renal calyceal calculi without hydronephrosis. Urinary bladder is partly distended (prevoid volume - about 45 cc). Transvaginal scan shows urethral calculus (8-9 mm). 

Case Discussion

Findings of urethral and bilateral renal calyceal calculi. A previous ultrasound 4 months prior had demonstrated a right pelvi-ureteric junction calculus (8 mm), which is not present on this follow-up ultrasound, and bilateral renal calyceal calculi.
