Haematuria and flank pain

Patient Data

Gender: Male
CT

The bladder is distended and there is bilateral mild hydronephrosis. There is a calcific focus in the prostatic urethra in keeping with a urethral calculus.

Case Discussion

Urethral calculi account for less than 1% of urinary tract calculi.
