Urethral stricture with vesicoureteric reflux

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

History of dysuria and purulent urethral discharge for a long time. No history of trauma or iatrogenic procedure.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Retrograde urethrogram shows a long segment of irregular, beaded narrowing in the penile urethra with post-stenotic dilatation of the bulbous urethra.

Right side grade II and left side grade I vesicoureteric reflux is noted.

Case Discussion

Irregular urethral narrowing of several centimeters is typical for gonococcal urethral infection.
