Urinary bladder cancer

Presentation

Hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 90 years
Gender: Male
ct

Two 12 mm and 8 mm small lesions are seen at segments VIII and IVa respectively which become isodense with surrounding parenchyma on delayed images. Further evaluation with ultrasound and if indicated dynamic contrast MRI are needed for rule out of metastasis.

Multiple small stones are seen at gallbladder. 

A 40×35 mm cystic lesion with fine internal septations and without obvious enhancing solid component is present at pancreatic body.

Multiple simple cortical cysts are seen at kidneys less than 55 mm. 

Large sliding hiatal hernia is present. 

A 16 mm enhancing polypoid lesion is observed at left posterolateral aspect of urinary bladder. There is no sign of extravesical extension and no regional lymphadenopathy. The prostate gland is enlarged. 

Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.

Case Discussion

Urinary bladder mass; pathology proven transitional cell carcinoma.
Pancreatic cystic lesion; Serous cystadenoma is probably diagnosis.
