Presentation

Gross hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male
ct

Severe left-sided hydroureteronephrosis is present causing left renal parenchymal atrophic changes. 

A 65 × 27 mm enhancing mass is noted at the left posterolateral aspect of the urinary bladder that infiltrates the left UVJ and the distal portion of the left ureter. In addition, a 27×23 mm cystic lesion is present just lateral to the left UVJ.

The prostate gland is enlarged. 

Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.

Grade I spondylolisthesis of L5 on S1 is present with bilateral spondylolysis.

Case Discussion

Urinary bladder mass; pathologically proven papillary urothelial carcinoma with involvement of distal portion of the left ureter.
