Urinary bladder cancer

Presentation

Work up for gross hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male
ct

Increased wall thickness up to 20 mm is present at the left lateral aspect of the urinary bladder, which shows inhomogeneous enhancement on post contrast images. Mild perivesical fat stranding is present without local invasion to adjacent structures. 

The prostate gland is enlarged. 

Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.
L5 vertebra is sacralized.

Case Discussion

Urinary bladder mass; pathology proved urothelial cell carcinoma, without local invasion, regional lymphadenopathy, or detectable metastasis.
