Presentation

Recurrent gross hematuria and increasing urinary frequency.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Two urinary bladder diverticula, one on each side. The smaller diverticulum on the right side has an enhancing filling defect. Both upper tracts are clear. No lymphadenopathy or distant metastasis is noted. Small right adrenal myelolipoma.

Case Discussion

The patient underwent TURBT and the histopathology showed grade 3 urothelial cell carcinoma (UCC). He eventually underwent complete resection of the right-sided diverticulum; however, no residual malignancy was visualized.
