Right pelvic pain, workup for ureteral-bladder stones.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Direct right inguinal hernia containing part of the anterolateral wall of the bladder, as well as associated mesenteric fat. No bowel loops.

No stones are seen in ureters or inside of the bladder.

Case Discussion

Right direct inguinal hernia. The bladder is elongated and travels through the inguinal hernia with urine trapped inside and at the inguinal region.
