Severe strictures in the prostatic segment of the urethra and at the urinary bladder neck.
Contrast refluxes into the ejaculatory ducts, seminal vesicles and Cowper glands due to severe stenosis.
Case Discussion
Retrograde urethrography is the primary method used to image an anterior urethral stricture. In posterior urethral and urinary bladder neck strictures following blunt trauma, simultaneous antegrade cystourethrography and retrograde urethrography are often required to determine the length of the urethral defect.
