Case Discussion

Urinary bladder stones are fairly uncommon in normal bladders.

Patients with urinary stasis are at increased risk of bladder stones formation.

This patient had a history of benign prostatic hyperplasia on treatment for 10 years.

This prostatic enlargement was probably the main cause for his chronic outlet obstruction aiding to the urinary stasis, evident on the pre and post voiding bladder volumes.
