Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male
A calcification projects over the left L3 transverse process.
5 mm ureteric calculus is noted within the proximal left ureter. No other renal or ureteric calculi identified. Associated mild hydronephrosis and perinephric stranding.

Case Discussion

The calculus was retrieved via retrograde ureteroscopy.
