There are basal and peripheral reticular opacities with honeycombing and traction bronchiectasis.
Case Discussion
These findings are consistent with UIP pattern. UIP has distinctive HRCT findings. If the UIP pattern is of unknown cause (i.e. idiopathic), the disease is called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
