Case Discussion

Uterine arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a rare vascular condition. It is either congenital or acquired (most common).

The causes of acquired conditions include pelvic trauma, surgical procedures(caesarean section, curettage(as in our case), invasive hydatidiform mole, and cervical or endometrial cancer). The differential diagnosis includes gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD).
