Uterine intramural/submucosal leiomyoma

Presentation

Pelvic pain and intermittent vaginal bleeding.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

A large intramural-submucosal well-defined margin mass lesion hypointense on T2-weighted images and isointense on T1-weighted images with mild to moderate and relatively heterogenous enhancement. Height up to 45 mm and axial width up to 50 x 35 mm within the middle to the right side of the uterus fundus is seen.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non contrast and contrast enhanced, DWI, and ADC MRI features of the pathologically-proved uterine leiomyoma with FIGO 2 type 1.
