Presentation

Cutaneous opening discharging fluid since her last cesarean section

Patient Data

Age: 40
Gender: Female
Modality: MRI

Injection of gel and fluid through the opening at anterior abdominal wall.

A fistulous tract is seen arising from the uterus at cesarean section site and directed upward and anteriorly and end in the anterior abdominal wall

Diagnosis: Utero-cutaneous fistula

Case Discussion

Utero-cutaneous fistula may occur secondary to cesarean section, myomectomy and in case of endometriosis.
