Cutaneous opening discharging fluid since her last cesarean section

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female
mri

Injection of gel and fluid through the opening at the anterior abdominal wall.

A fistulous tract is seen arising from the uterus at cesarean section site and directed upward and anteriorly and end in the anterior abdominal wall

 

Case Discussion

A utero-cutaneous fistula may occur secondary to cesarean section (as in this case), myomectomy, and in case of endometriosis.
