Uterus didelphys

mri

Two separate uteri with widely divergent apices, two separate cervices, and an upper vaginal longitudinal septum. In each uterus, normal uterine zonal anatomy is preserved, findings consistent with didelphys uterus

Case Discussion

Uterus didelphys results from a complete failure of müllerian duct fusion. Each duct develops fully with duplication of the uterine horns, cervix, and proximal vagina (in three-fourths of patients)
