Uterus didelphys with Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome

15-year old female patient presented with lower pelvic pain. History of prior gynecologic surgery.

Patient Data

Age: 15
Gender: Female
  • Complete duplication of uterine horns as well as duplication of cervix.
  • Right renal agenesis.


Case Discussion

The findings are of a uterus didelphys and a unilateral right renal agenesis - a common association. There is a history of prior surgery, which was for a vaginal septum which had been obstructing the right uterus.
