Age: 35
Gender: Female

Medical device projected over the left side of the thoracic cavity with associated wires extending towards the left side of the neck.

Case Discussion

The potential range of medical devices projected over the chest and abdomen observed on imaging is broad.

This a less common one - a vagal nerve stimulator. It's not a pacemaker - look where the wires go!
