Presentation

Painless swelling of the right neck.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

The MRI sequences demonstrate a well-encapsulated right cervical soft tissue mass (40 x 25 x 18 mm) of intermediate signal on T1, heterogeneous high signal on T2 with moderate and heterogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences. No restricted diffusion is seen on DWI/ADC. It lies between the carotid bifurcation anteriorly and internal jugular vein laterally.
