Gender: Male

A large midline vascular avidly enhancing structure. Prominent adjacent veins and arteries.

Marked proximal triventricular hydrocephalus with periventricular leukoencephalopathy.

Case Discussion

Vein of Galen aneurysmal malformation is result of a cerebral arteriovenous fistula. It can present features of a left-to-right shunt and high-output cardiac failure.
